Blessing of the Paschal Food Baskets
Blessing of the Food Baskets Blessing of the Food baskets is a centuries old tradition in which people from all Orthodox backgrounds participate. The baskets are filled with foods that are used to break the fast: eggs, cheese, meats, and any other festive items to celebrate the Resurrection. A table will be located outside the North door of the church for your baskets. The baskets will be blessed following our midnight Resurrection service.
